ok heres where the stuff begins:
Here is the things you can find in the latest version of the game.
First off, there is a Thumbs.db folder, with a modification date of September 9th of 2007. The game once used normal .png files instead of the RPG Maker encrypted .xyz files, and second, that the first files seen are the FC World files, with a date of 2004. This might suggest that the game was originally all FC-like, and the first Madotsuki file (at least the one with the sprite with no effect equipped) was modified in 2005. It could also mean that the FC World was one of the first areas to be added to the game.
Too bad that the file compressed the original pngs to a small jpeg file, meaning it will be a little hard to make out what the things on the image are.
Above is an early version of the file "イベント_006". The only apparent differece seems to be that one of the elevator sprites is still being worked. Also, theres a unused sprite on the top right corner but we'll talk about that later.
Above is an early version of the file "イベント_015", the only visible difference is a missing traffic cone.
Now for the normal CharSet files.
The files "【FC】イベント_001" and "【FC】イベント_001" have black boxes in one of the tiles. It maybe could have been used as a tile for the tiny FC Sprites. As these files have been edited in the beggining of the game's life, Kikiyama might not have had spriting tools with pixel grids for measuring.
Also on "【FC】イベント_002.png", there is a sprite for the main character of the NASU minigame. As the game uses picture events for the game, this might suggest that the minigame was once simpler.
Above is some unused sprites on the file イベント_002 (that tv with the red static is unused too i forgot to put it in the cropped image). I don't know what to say here so for the next one.
Above is an unused mirror sprite, that in previous versions of the game was used on the Hell Maze to obtain the Fat effect.
Above is a.. thing that I cannot identify what it is. It's up to your interpretation on what it is.
Above is an earlier version of an eye creature (used version can see above) that appears in the sewers. The reason for change might be that it did not fit in the sewers area so it was remade.
Above is an earlier version of the BuyoBuyo effect, wich was on older versions of the game obtained in the desert village.
Above is an unused passager of the train found in the deep woods. It might be an earlier version of the passager below it, as it looks like it was only flipped horizontally and was darkened.
Above is an unused blindfold effect that Madotsuki would equip. It is unknown why it was not used, and it is also present on the 0.06 version, meaning that it might have been scrapped very early in the development.
The file "【FC】イベント_001.png" is repeated 3 times, the only visible difference being the file names, and even weirder is that the files have the exact same timestamp of modification.
The sprites of the habitants of the FC Underworld are repeated some times on the charsets, it is unknown why.
As seen before, there are 2 versions of the traffic cone, one wich is large and one wich is small. It is unknow why such thing is done.
Mafurako is in the middle of Madotsuki's charset files.
Let's start again with the Thumbs.db
The file, again, has the modification date of September 9th of 2007.
This file of the FC World chipset with modification date of September 8th of 2007 has some huge differences. See image below.
This image of a staircase goes unused in 0.10, but gets used in 0.06 in a test room.
This chipset wich I have no idea of what it is. It looks like it is an early version of the sewers area.
This image is different from the final version. See image below.
